Michael Chernus To Play The Tinkerer In Spider-Man: Homecoming
Spider-Man: Homecoming‘s adds another villain to its ranks.
According to Deadline, Orange Is The New Black‘s Michael Chernus will play the Tinkerer in the upcoming Spider-Man film directed by Jon Watts. He joins a rogues’ gallery which includes Michael Keaton, presumably as The Vulture, as they face off against Tom Holland‘s webhead. At one time Logan Marshall-Green was tipped to be playing the Tinkerer, but it is unclear if negotiations broke down or if the actor will play another villain in the film.
Besides taking on a couple of bad guys, Homecoming will see Peter Parker facing troubles at school, the continued presence of Tony Stark in his life and an uncertain future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Spider-Man: Homecoming opens on July 7th, 2017.
